Volunteer Opportunities

The Ronald McDonald House relies on the dedication of our volunteers to help improve the lives of our region's children, one life at a time. In 2010, RMHC volunteers completed a total of 5,697 hours of service.

Prospective volunteers should submit a volunteer application. All new volunteers receive an orientation and tour of the House, as well as training if needed. You must be 16 years or older. If you are interested in becoming a Ronald McDonald House volunteer, click here to submit an application!

Volunteer Positions

Office Support Various Office Duties Evening Receptionist Commitment: Weekly 2-3 Hour Shift, M-F	House Assistant Room preparation for guests Laundry General cleaning Commitment: Weekly 2-3 Hour Shift, M-F
Outside Work Landscaping Yard maintenance Commitment: 2-3 Hour Shift, Flexible	Inside Maintenance Various "handyman" duties Guest room maintenance Commitment: 2-3 Hour Shift, Flexible
Hot Meals Program Great for groups & families Provide an evening meal for the House families Commitment: Once a month (if possible) or fill in open dates	Pantry Partner Great for Groups Collect items that are most needed for the House Commitment: Choose a month
Fundraising & Special Events Aid in fundraising efforts Assist at special events Ambassadors of the Ronald McDonald House Commitment: Varies, Evenings or Weekends
