Doors of Compassion to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Miami Valley
Saturday, April 21, 2012



Dinner Party in Host Home: 6pm-8:30pm
The After Party: 9pm-midnight


Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of the Miami Valley Region is pleased to present the second annual Doors of Compassion event which will take place on Saturday, April 21, 2012. All proceeds from the Doors of Compassion benefit the local Ronald McDonald House, supporting guest families with critically ill or injured, hospitalized children.

The evening will begin with an exquisite dinner served in more than 20 private residences in Oakwood & Kettering and prepared by some of the area's most elite chefs. All chefs are given the same core dinner ingredients and encouraged to use their culinary creativity to create a cuisine for their guest's enjoyment! Dinner locations are randomly assigned to guest pairs, providing a wonderful opportunity for community and business leaders to mingle and dine together. Adding even more excitement to the night, all guests will be contacted the week prior to the event to receive the location of their dinner home.

After dinner, all guests will converge to share their unique dining experiences at After Party Twenty Twelve. The After Party venue will be revealed at the dinner home locations. After Party Twenty Twelve will feature a decadent dessert & coffee bar, and after-dinner libations. Community favorite, Kim Faris of 94.5 Lite FM will emcee the evening, while "Rodney The Band" takes center stage featuring 60's, 70's, and 80's dance party favorites! An exhilarating Live Auction will also take place headed up by Bobbie Roland, providing a chance for guests to bid on exciting gift packages. In addition, a beautiful Charles Krypell piece from James Free Jewelers will be raffled off to a lucky guest that evening. A special thank you to this year's Honorary Chairs, Alex and Shayna Kolodesh. With the success of the inaugural 2011 event, we are looking forward to the 2012 Doors of Compassion event with great anticipation!
